Important Convention Update

The Dairy Products Institute of Texas released a convention update on March 15th regarding our Annual Convention at the Hilton Dallas/Rockwall Lakefront Hotel in Rockwall, Texas

As you all know the world experienced significant changes last week. By the end of the week the effects of the Coronavirus were far reaching, and the world has changed in many ways. I began inquiring about changes to our convention (cancel or reschedule) on Wednesday. I talked to our Helms Briscoe rep (Jeff Sterne), our Chairman Barry Beaman and several others. By Friday I had received significant feedback and it became obvious that we cannot proceed with our April Spring Convention. Barry and I made the decision to cancel and explore future options.
